Description:
Fat transfer can be used to revitalize sagging skin, erase wrinkles, and increase the fullness of lips, and to smooth scars and other skin imperfections. The fat is removed from a "donor" area, usually the hips, abdomen, or even buttocks. The fat is than injected into the "recipient" area, which is most commonly the cheeks, lips, buttocks, labia, and penis.
Time Required:
The length of the procedure varies by individual but an hour is typical.

Side Effects:
The side effects from a Fat Transfer may include temporary swelling, bruising, and redness. These conditions are usually associated with the "donor" areas and not the recipient.
Risks:

Duration of Results:
The results from a Fat Transfer or apparent immediately, however, more injection may be necessary to achieve the desired result. These results are long lasting and may even be permanent.

The bruising and swelling from a fat transfer usually recedes with 1-7 days.
