Is There Anything Botox Can't Fix?!

Wow, every time I think BOTOX® and its uses can't possibly evolve any further, I hear of yet another medical problem that this cosmetic miracle cure is breaking ground with. I mean, ever since BOTOX® burst onto the scene, we immediately saw the treatment as a kind of cosmetic wunderkind. Now, it seems BOTOX® Cosmetic, forever the cool kid in school, has branched out of its circle of pretty people to lend a hand with larger community problems. Whether BOTOX® is just building extracurricular activities for induction into the school of anti-aging elites, or has a future as a health and beauty ambassador, time will tell. But exactly what all does BOTOX® treat these days?

Wrinkles to Writer's Cramp

BOTOX® Cosmetic, as most of you know, was originally used to smooth out those unfortunate brow wrinkles, crow's feet, and perpetual smile lines (which ironically inspire frowns). Now it's just unbelievable what BOTOX® has accomplished in the medical field as well as in the cosmetic industry.

Some other common BOTOX® uses include injections for hyperhidrosis (yaay for no more excessive sweating!), migraine headaches, enlarged prostates, and blepharospasm aka eyelid spasms. What might be news to you on the list of BOTOX® cures are TMJ (jaw muscle and joint disorder), bladder dysfunction, spasmodic dysphonia (strangled voice disorder), multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and even back pain and writer's cramp!

Hmm...maybe in the future event of a national emergency, BOTOX® syringes will be stockpiled along with our first aid kits and canned goods. Just remember, for wrinkles, muscle spasms, and/or sweaty pits, please speak with your doctor to make sure BOTOX® is right for you.

Don't Suck it in, Tummy Tuck it in: Alpha Moms Go From Flab to Fab!

In today's society, does anybody shoulder more responsibilities than the working mother? I'm going to have to bite "no" on that one. Granted, I've never done the mom thing myself, but based on feedback gathered during countless venting sessions over coffee, late-night phone calls, and retail therapy with female friends and relatives, I have nothing but respect and admiration for these modern-day heroines. Successful working moms, or "alpha moms" as they're sometimes called, bust their butts to do it all, and as a result, they often overlook their own upkeep and self-preservation. But thanks to cosmetic treatments like liposuction, breast augmentation, and tummy tucks, working moms can keep doing it all and keep up their formerly rockin' bodies.

Too Young for BOTOX®?

So I recently heard the accusations against Sharon Stone for wanting to give Botox to her 8-year-old son. It was supposedly to prevent foot odor, not to tighten up baby fat, but even so, the idea of Botox for an 8-year-old leaves many of us going, "Whaa...?" So it got me thinking, how young is too young for Botox, or for cosmetic procedures in general?
