A rhinoplasty, or nose job, is one of the most accepted forms of plastic surgery there is. I mean, who doesn't know a girl or two with a corrected "deviated septum?" All cosmetic surgeries are becoming more and more acceptable such as breast augmentation or liposuction, but I really think nose jobs are right at the top.
We recently even did an article about the top celebrity nose jobs! We all know about Jennifer Grey's famous nose job—I always thought she looked so cute before and after the nose job, but it just ruined her career. Don't give baby a nose job! I had no idea though that Scarlett Johannson or Ashley Tisdale both had rhinoplasty. I really need to get more in touch with the gossip mags ;)
You can say that Jennifer Grey messed up her acting career because she took away what distinguished her, but who wants a distinguished nose anyway! Unless you're a stand-up comedian, a distinguished nose really isn't helping anyone. And I know we live in this beauty obsessed culture, but who doesn't want to feel normal. It's okay to want to feel excepted; these are normal, natural feelings. Of course, you shouldn't elect to have cosmetic surgery just to fit in, but I feel that there's nothing wrong with wanting to feel confident in your looks.
I say stop hiding behind your deviated septums excuses and be proud of your nose jobs. Be it a bump or hump or funny angle, get your rhinoplasty plastic surgery and feel proud. Walk with your nose held high. And if you're not a fan of plastic surgery, then be proud of your character. Plastic surgery shouldn't be about looking hot, but being happy with yourself.
