"Had Juvederm injected near my mouth a month ago. The results look great now, but there was some pretty significant bruising. I felt embarassed about it for a while, but now that's gone, I'm happy with the results. The wrinkles have smoothed out quite a bit, and people tell me I look great. Not sure if I would do it again - we'll see how long it lasts and whether everything returns to normal once it's done." - Submitted by Alan Y.

"I recently had Juvederm injections for the first time. I am 43 and decided that I should get rid of the smile lines around my mouth. I had the procedure a week ago by a plastic surgeon (which made me feel a lot more confident about it). Right now I’m still suffering from some bruising, and I’ve had to cover that up with makeup.
I doubt that I would do this again. Apart from the bruising, it just feels phony. The results are fine and I’m sure the bruising will go down. But, I don’t think it’s worth it if I have to use this much makeup just to go out of the house. I can’t imagine if I had some wedding or event to attend.

"I am 40 years old and I had never had Juvederm until now. People have always told me I look 10 years younger than I am. But, lately I’ve had a lot of stress at work and home, and it’s had a pretty adverse effect on my looks.
Yesterday, I had Juvederm injected into my nasolabial folds. HTheMy doctor wasn’t sure that he’d be able to get the full results I wanted with a single syringe, but about halfway through there was such a big difference that he stopped injecting.
Afterwards there was some swelling, but that is supposed to go down after a few days.
Now it’s a day later, and apart from some tiny bruises where the needle went in, I see no problems at all. Truthfully, what I see today, just one day later, is astounding, it almost makes me want to cry. There is so much improvement. The wrinkles had gotten so bad in my opinion, that my self-confidence had taken a nose dive. Now I feel like my convidence is returning, I feel SO much better abut myself.
One cool thing about Juvederm is that the leftovers can be saved for later treatments. Since I didn’t use all of it up on my naso-labial folds, I’m thinking about going back and using the rest on another area… maybe my lips.
Juvederm was worth every dollar I spent. Hopefully the results last as long as they promise..

"I had been thinking about fixing the bags under my eyes, but I wasn’t ready to have surgery just yet. I went to plastic surgeon to learn about non-surgical options. He told that Juvederm should help with the under eye bags by filling out the surrounding areas.
He couldn’t have been more wrong! At first it looked ok, but after a few more days the Juvederm started migrating from the corners of my eyes so that now, instead of just having small puffiness around my eyes, I have HUGE bags underneath! I look AWFUL – do not have this procedure done under your eyes.

"I had my lips done a month or six weeks ago, and I love it. I went to a plastic surgeon in Denver area) who only charged $500 per surenge (sp?), whereas Renew You, a clinic, charges $600 per surenge.

It was quick and easy, not a surgery like someone else mentioned... more like being at the dentist. First, they numb the inside of your mouth. Then, they inject you as they would inside your mouth at the dentist. Not too bad. I hate needles, but the nurse is so good that it doesn't hurt. Then, the rest of the procedure is injections to form the lips you want. Literally, whatever you want. It's easy, and within a few hours, the numbness goes away (again, just like going to the dentist).

I love my lips!!! I only did a little bit, but I was losing collagen and my lips were getting thinner..... and they look so natural, and so good.... I just love them and would recommend JUVEDERM to anyone.

"I was told by my plastic surgeon of 30 years experience that Juvaderm is the best. It is made of hydrocloronic Acid (sp?), which is natural in the body (knees, and such) and that it will last a lot longer than restalyn and other products, without lumps, less pain, less swelling, in three different thicknesses for different uses on the face.
