"Terrible experience. Started off fine, loved my original consultant and was excited, looking forward to treatment. After 2nd treatment, I had a horrible reaction. When I went into the office to discuss, I was offered MORE products, not solution. I still wanted the hair removal, so I decided to wait 1 month and see if my skin calmed down. When it didn't, I contacted office, told them I was afraid to continue treatments as I still had breakouts, scarring and pain more than 6 weeks after the treatment and decided to not continue. The response-'well, it will be hard to get your money back-takes 2-3 months and you need to see a dermatoligist to say you should stop before we refund your money' This was after they had actually seen the condition of my skin from the treatment. However I was in no way in a position to spend this kind of money on this procedure and during my free consultation I kept stating that I really needed time to think it over. The manager just kept at me saying that the special would be over on the following Monday and then the price would be more. I really feel that I was pressured into purchasing something way beyond my means. Then they rushed me in for a treatment that caused me to be unable to
get out of the contract. Very disappointing and I would not recommend this to anyone with out warning them about the cost. I went into it not having any idea of the expense
and would not do it again. It was also very disappointing that when I called the following Monday no one was willing to help me resolve the situation. I do was told by the district manager "Katie" that I was an adult and no one can make me do anything. I thought this was more than rude, I was pressured into this no matter what she says.

"The one problem I had was that the consultant said that I could get the area under the arch of my eyebrow done. This was important to me because plucking gives me very painful staph infections in that area sometimes. This was actually the reason I purchased this service in the first place. At my first appointment, the technician said that the area could not be done. When I made my next appointment, the lady who had done my original consultation said she would put in my file that I would like to have that done. At my second visit, this was not done again. I called the customer service office and told them what happened. Every person I spoke to said that the area under the arch of the eyebrow could not be done, it was too close to the eye. While I am thankful that the technician did not damage my eye, I felt lied to. I was compensated a little for my trouble.

"I filed a dispute with the financing company, and had all refunded but one underarm treatment. I tried to get a refund from the provider in under 24 hours, because the manager LIED to me about efficacy. She suggested that the consent form was overrated and should be ignored, and assured me that they could "guarantee PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL." Once I had been rejected "by corporate" because I had received one treatment during my consultation (which I offered to pay for, and she denied,) she called me twice to pressure me to make more appointments, and raised her voice at me multiple times. During those phone calls, she changed her tune, "of course it isn't permanent." I also heard her say to her technician that they should "CX another client to get her in." On Yelp, it is clear that they do this all the time to lock people into the contract before they can look up the company's terrible reputation.

I was successful in getting a refund via Chase Bank. The Manager opened an account with them without ever showing me any paperwork for the financing plan, not telling me the interest rate details, not getting my signature... totally unethical.

"I chose your facility with the promise that additional personnel would be avialble for fillers. I am extremely busy and wanted permanent hair removal and Juverderm in one treatment/facility. The required personnel, was not hired in the time promised and I had to seek this service elsewhere. As i was parking, now 5 minutes past that time, the Asst Manger, Amy cancelled on me--she had a 12:15 that had arrived early and she "was accomadting me @12" At this point I had invested 1 hour into this appointmnet that never happened, and my service takes at the mose 7 minutes. When the Manager Kate called me to reschedule and I had my treament, that Tuesday-- she proceeded to tell me no one has problems with Amy--assuming it was my fault--Kate McGowan did not want to hear of the incident on Friday 3/15--she responded, "I dont know what happened that day, we did have a girl on vacation, the schedule was tight, but no one has a problem with Amy." I then asked her to move me to another location---much less conveneint for me, because I felt extremely uncomfortable at that point. I am in Medical Sales for J&J and I know how to dleiver customer service. This location is more focused on taking care of each other--verses putting the customer first. I would love a refund to continue my hair removal treatment in NJ where I reside. "Everything is ok. I used one laser this place has, and I was not getting results at all. I have been treated by annother laser place in the past that worked much better. I tried a different laser last time, and I seemed to respond better. Problem is I used the other laser a few times, so I feel like I wasted a number of treatments. Not sure if anything can be done about this, but it is a little frustrating that I feel like I got nothing out of quite a number of treatments. "Their saleswoman did a wonderful job convining me that I would be an ideal candidate for lazer hair removal and almost guaranteed me that I would have 100 percent success rate.
I pretty much knew going in that I wanted to do it, I was just worried about the cost. They were having a buy one service, get second free, so I bought it. It was a lot more expensive than what was quoted me in my hometown of Lawrence, KS, but she really sold me on the fact that I would have the same technition working on me everytime and that I would be really comfortable and well taken care of. I was really anxious about the comfort level and she assured me that they would take care of it, and it would not hurt. They were totally WRONG! Come to find out the lazer that she wanted to use for me was already being used that day, so they had to use a regular one. I have had two children, and have NEVER experienced such pain in my life!! If it were not for the skilled tech. who knew what she was doing and went really fast, i would have walked out. Went back for second appt. 10 weeks later and my technition was gone, and they did not tell me that. I felt lied to and betrayed. Then they did not tell me who my new tech. would be and just proceded to talk amoungst themselves at the desk. I was very uncomfortable and had to wait 30 minutes for my new tech. who had the new machine, but it still hurt more than life itself, because the machine was broken so I did not have appt. and said they would call when new one is here. That was 2 weeks ago. I really really regret my decision for I feel lied to and feel like I bought a lemon from a used car dealer. I've told everyone about my experience and do not want to go back. I have showed up to all my appointments and have a blast with the staff and trust that they know enough about me to look out for my best interest. I took part in one of there injection parties and had jevaderm injected into to creases around my lips and it looks so great, but not like I had anything done other than to me which is what I requested. For the second treatment, although I have specifically requested to have Dawn again, I was scheduled with another girl, this one with no interpersonal skills and more importantly, extremely superficial. When I showed up on time (leaving work early) to make my appt., I was forced to wait for almost an hour before finally being seen. If I had been late for the appointment, I would have been charged. But when I asked for a reduction in the bill to compensate for my lost time, I was told that was impossible and was not allowed to speak with the receptionist's supervisor. Instead she gave me a 1-800 number where I spoke to customer service and left them my complaint and information, and was told I would be getting a call back from a supervisor. I was told up front that Laser Hair removal is not permanent and that additional treatments would be needed yearly after sucessful hair removal of the areas noted above was completed. While the truth was told, it is a very expensive procedure and should be covered by insurance especially since women should not have excessive hair on face and arms.

I am now in the yearly stages but it still costs approximately $700.00/yr to remove the unwanted hair. The hair does get lighter and patchy as time goes by. Hopefully the price will go lower.

I said that I was treating them with my dermatologist and that I had stopped that treatment for a while until I finished this laser treatment.

"I was shocked when they asked for tips. I don't agree with that, they need to put that somewhere in their brochure about tipping. I went with my daughter to her procedure just could not believe that. I feel that I am paying a lot for laser hair and then to ask for tips on top of that, just made me angry. My daughter said that the lady didn't do her neck on the second procedure, but on the first one she did, is that because i didn't want to tip her? That was wrong.
