"Overall i was pleased with the results of my microdermabrasion. However the day before I was scheduled to come back for my 3rd treatment I was told that Rachel wasn't going to be available until august sometime and there wasn't anyone else in the office that could perform the service. So now I have to look for someone else to pick up where she left off. I just wish that I was giving a more time than the day before to find someone to perform the treatment." - Submitted by Jessica S. of Houston, TX |

"pretty disappointed. was told microdermabrasion would remove some wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. had first treatment a week ago and lines look the same to me. my skin does feel smoother, but the wrinkles were my main issue. Clinic recommended I have at least 1-2 more treatments to make sure, but if no results after that I won't be having microderm again." - Submitted by Heather S. of Waterbury, CT |

"This was my first time getting Microdermabrasion. Wanted to refine my pores and minimize old acne scars. Since I have very sensitive skin, I asked the aesthetician to use a low intensity or "gentle" treatment setting. While I'm glad the treatment didn't hurt, maybe it was a bit too gentle. |

"After prior company who provided services for me went out of service (and burnt me for $ paid), I was called by this company. Extremely professional, excellent reception, good service providers. Can't really afford this right now but have on-going skin issues on face I'm trying to keep in check so will try to continue as long as I can swing cost. "The procedure I had was a complimentary service. I inquired about other services and prices. At this time, my budget for spa services has been severely curtailed do to my employment situation. Hopefully, as the economy improves and my employment is no longer threatened by furloughs and/or layoffs I would enjoy services at Calidora" - Submitted by Gay F. of Redondo Beach, CA |

"At my consultation I was not told that there is nothing you could do for acne. At my third appointment I finally asked WHEN my face was going to improve and thats when they told me, theres nothing you can do for acne! I dont make much money as it is and I WASTED $700. Not happy with this at all." - Submitted by Raquel D. of Dewitt, MI |

"Your location service and personelle were excellent. However without a coupon or incentive to purchase a facial for $145 or more when the average cost around town is $90 doesn't seem like a responsible choice to me. I would love to see you offer a more general facial for a market rate price with the option for additional services at an additional cost. I loved the service and my tech but have a hard time swallowing such a significant price difference." - Submitted by Melanie G. of Seattle Q, WA |

"The staff was friendly, the location was great, and the office had a "homely" feel to it. However, the procedure was pricey! One treatment, which was supposedly "a deal", was $450, and to achieve complete results, and at least 3 are required and done every 4-6 weeks. In this economy, that's just way to much money. Additionally, I was not told about the after effects; your undereye area would be extremely swollen, you would have dozens of tiny dark dots in the treated area, and it would be impossible to cover with makeup! I'd got it done on a weekday night and could not take off work without advance notice to my boss. I went in to work wearing dark shades and was in the bathroom half the day, reapplying makeup. I knew my coworkers were staring. If someone is to get this done, make sure to get it done during a long weekend so you have time to recover." - Submitted by Ladrenna J. of Chicago, IL |

"There was a very slight language barrier, but the staff took good care of me. After the procedure, I could see a VERY big difference in my face. Some hyper-pigmentation (acne scarring) and even some small acne bumps had faded in just that one appointment. I'd had chemical peels before, paying about $200, and they did absolutely NOTHING for my complexion. I've had 6 microdermabrasions done and I must say, it has done away with years of scars. I'd willingly pay $200-3$00 for this procedure because IT JUST WORKS. Luckily, my friends at Perfect Beauty don't charge that. Thank you, God!" - Submitted by David B. of San Diego, CA |

"I am a 25 year old white female with very fair skin. I have a problem with acne, and acne scars, uneven pigmentation, brown specks-pigmentation under my eyes. I got a microdermabrasion done for $125.00 per treatment, and a vitalize peel for $75.00 I dont know if these are fair prices or not, or if I am even going to a good place for these treatments. Also I have a problem with more then "normal" facial hair and they want to treat it with an IPL Intense Pulse light or whatever-which I know that this is a fake laser and does not work, so would this mean that everything in this place probably sucks and does not work? How do you tell if the microdermabrasion maching is working the right way? The tech showed me the dead skin that was suctioned off of my face, but is there a way to tell if it is working? I have heard stories about places using crap machines. Now the vitalize peel- I dont know..my skin is supposed to be peeling etc for like a week straight, and nothing is happening to me. Crap-how do you know if you are getting an honest treatment with this stuff?" - Submitted by Jackie B. |
